Welcome

Austen is one of the UK’s most talented rising producers and engineers. Between 2010-2016 Austen was based at London’s legendary Dean St. Studios as their Head Engineer where he had the opportunity to work with and learn from a vast swathe of the industries most influential artists, producers and record labels. Now working independently as a freelance Producer and Engineer, Austen is going from strength to strength, recently winning a Grammy Award for his work on Adele’s seminal 25 record, and is continuing to add more and more names to an already impressive client list.

About Me

London based

Producer // Engineer

Coming from working as the Head Engineer at the famed Dean St. Studios, one of the few remaining commercial recording studios in Central London, Austen has accrued a wealth of knowledge and experience, working alongside and learning from some the music industries most revered artists and producers.

The last few years have been a whirlwind of some of the biggest names in the global and UK market, including Ed Sheeran, Florence and the Machine, Lady Gaga, Paul Weller, A$AP Rocky, Plan B, John Legend, The Weekend and most notably, Adele.

Having engineered on the seminal “25” album, Austen was invited to the 59th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles where his part in helping create the album earned him an award in the ‘Album of the Year’ category.

Running alongside his continued growth as one of the industries fastest rising engineers, Austen is also constantly expanding his Production portfolio. So far his most commercially successful projects have been with British indie band Wolf Alice, first producing the single ‘Bros', and the follow up EP; ‘Blush.’ Thanks to the praise that followed with the success of both projects, the band were able to secure a record deal with Dirty Hit Records and have gone onto great things both at home and in the US.

Working as a freelance engineer Austen is currently focussed on the upcoming release of one the UK’s biggest artists and looking to use the momentum of his recent successes to expand his work across both London and Los Angeles.
